American Legion Posts to Help West Virginia Veterans

 

KENOVA, W. Virginia (May 3, 2025)) – Military veterans in and around Kenova are invited for an information session at the American Legion Post 93 located at 302 8th Street in Kenova, W. Virginia on May 3rd to 4th. 2025. From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. American Legion staff will be available to discuss veterans’ benefits, the Legion’s legislative efforts, membership opportunities, and service to the community. A veteran service officer will be available to discuss claims and other benefits questions.

In keeping with the American Legion’s over 100-year tradition, the American Legion posts in this area will focus on community service and assistance to veterans. The scope and nature of the posts’ community service are determined by their members and with input from local civic and community officials.

Consolidated Post Report

The 2024-2025 Consolidated Reports are now available online and in myLegion.

There have been several changes to either specific or simplify the verbiage, as well as the addition to a few new questions, such as those relating to “BE THE ONE.”

Please find the fillable PDFs for both CPR and CSR attached.

You may find the CPR online for download within the publications section of Legion.org.  When you go there, select the “Information Center” drop down, then “In the Media,” then “Publications,” and “Organization, Membership & Awards Publications.”

The CSR is kept with the all the other SAL publications. Select the “About” drop down, then “American Legion Family,” then “Sons of The American Legion,” and “Publications & Forms.”
